New Urban Fiction Novel Alert



Good Morning Everyone!

So, it's been a little while since I've written anything. I've been working extremely hard to complete two novels. Both of which, I finished on yesterday. 👐👐👐👐👐 In this blog, you'll get to hear about my upcoming release. By the way, I'm super excited about this one. It' s my first standalone novel! I feel the message that I tried to deliver will be relatable to some. Thank you all again, and see synopsis below.


 A new standalone novel that will be released# June 24th. It is called, All I Ever Wanted Was A Love Like Yours! 




Synopsis:

All I EVER WANTED WAS A LOVE LIKE YOURS (A Standalone Novel)

Ises Turner is a 24-year-old young lady from Chicago, Illinois. She’s had a rough start on life. Strict upbringing coupled with emotional abuse, are just some of the things that were endured in her childhood. Those situations affected Ises in such a way that it caused her to become shy, timid, and withdrawn from reality. Then as if her life hasn’t been hectic enough, once she gets older, Ises is yet again hit with another dilemma. The tragedy raises the question, “why me?” But then something magical happens; she meets a young man by the name of Chaz Washington. Chaz is a 28-year-old, co-owner of the most popular nightclub in Chicago called The Groove. When the two meets, Chaz ignites a fire inside of Ises that had long ago been stamped out. Alas, things start to look up as a whirlwind romance begins. However, shortly after starting the relationship, the new couple learns that there are others who aren't as happy about this new union. Can Ises & Chaz withstand the negativity and drama that comes their way, or will they allow the haters to tear apart what they are trying to build?

Micah Foster is what you would call a man-eater. She will chew a man up and spit him out before he even realizes what has happened. Not one to tolerate the lies and games, Micah chooses only to use them for their money, and what they can do for her. When she meets the charming and oh so suave Vic Taylor, she finds herself breaking all of her own rules just to be near him. Will Micah finally give in to what she has been trying so desperately to avoid, or will Vic become just another casualty of hers?


Take a look into the lives of four people that will do any and everything they can to prove the naysayers wrong by showing them that real love does exist. The question that poses is if they are willing to put in the hard work to make it last?

Many, have different preferences on what they love to see in a novel. Take, for instance, I was reading a few Facebook post, and I saw several people mention that they are tired of seeing weak women in the urban fiction stories; e.g. those who, "allow men to cheat on them, beat them, or treat them like dirt."
